Job Description

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in outpatient infusion and PICC line care. This role involves providing compassionate, skilled nursing care to a diverse patient population with various medical needs. You will assess, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions using critical thinking and sound clinical judgment, all while adhering to established policies and protocols. Job Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively according to nursing standards and patient needs. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members by providing accurate and timely patient information to ensure continuity of care. Document patient care activities thoroughly, including medications, vital signs, and intake/output. Primarily function as the outpatient infusion nurse, with flexibility to assist other patients within your scope of practice. Ensure legal compliance by obtaining appropriate consents and practicing within the Nurse Practice Act framework. Contribute to a positive team environment by participating in staff orientation, meetings, and ongoing training. Engage in special projects and additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals. Education and Experience Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Licenses and Certifications Current, unrestricted nursing license in the state of Washington. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong understanding of nursing procedures and outpatient care principles. Ability to apply age-specific growth and development principles to meet patient needs. Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards. Effective organizational and prioritization skills within a dynamic clinical environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency with technology, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office. Work Environment and Physical Requirements This position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting up to 35 pounds. The role requires clear vision, hearing, and speech capabilities, with or without corrective devices. Work Schedule Full-time position with 10-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.
