Pharmacy Resident (PGY2)

Department Pharmacy Job Summary Provides clinical pharmacy services for ECC and other assigned areas, while optimizing the quality of patient care. Within their scope of practice, the pharmacy resident shall work collaboratively with all healthcare team members toward the best outcomes for both the patient and the organization. In addition, the resident provides competent, efficient and ethical pharmacy operations along with pharmacotherapeutic services for assigned patient care areas. Residents are responsible for optimizing operations, medication therapy and the quality of patient care in collaboration with the department staff, medical staff and other clinicians. Demonstrate competent use of medication information resources, computer systems, and other technology utilized by the department. Directly supervises technical staff. Educate healthcare providers as assigned. Required Qualifications - Require successful completion of PGY1 Pharmacy Residency. - Require active Florida Pharmacist license. If no active Florida Pharmacist license by the resident start date, the resident must be registered as a Pharmacy Intern in the State of Florida and obtain active Florida Pharmacist licensure by the first of September of the year hired. - Require the ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance.
