Join our dedicated team as a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Registered Nurse (Travel RN) working night shifts in Davenport, Iowa. Job Details Assignment Length: 8-13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 or 48 hours (your choice) Shift: 12-hour night shifts; 3 shifts per week (Night Shift RN / Overnight RN) Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel Nurse / Travel RN) Location: Davenport, IA 52803 - Iowa nursing jobs / Davenport healthcare jobs Number of Openings: 3 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,980-$2,300/week Job Requirements Minimum two (2) years of bedside critical care clinical experience (critical care nurse / ICU experience preferred) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS certification (required prior to first shift) ACLS certification (required prior to first shift) Experience in LTAC, Sub-Acute, Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Pediatric PACU, or Pediatric OR preferred Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care following individualized nursing care plans in a Long-Term Acute Care setting Perform timely nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees; provide direction and clinical support Participate in patient rehabilitation programs, discharge planning, and transitions of care to ensure continuity Identify patient and family teaching needs and establish education goals Communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary care team and escalate concerns as needed Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies and evidence-based protocols Contribute to a positive unit culture, efficient workflow, and team building Assume charge nurse responsibilities as requested following orientation Pursue professional growth through continuing education and self-directed learning Experience a rewarding travel nurse assignment in a supportive LTAC environment in Davenport, IA.
