Position: Delivery Driver - No CDL Description: Box Truck Driver - Oriskany, NY Full Time Temp to Hire 8a to 4:30p M-F $18.50/hr. JOB PURPOSE To perform all aspects as required of the shipping and receiving process. To ship, receive, and deliver supplies, materials, orders, and equipment. To maintain the proper documentation and records as required by AS9100 guidelines JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY Receive and unload freight, manually, with a forklift, pallet jack or other mean to perform the job safely. Verify items received with purchase order or other documentation. Labels incoming materials per company procedures (Tags orders with required info) Wraps, packages and ships product per customer requirements. Sets up shipments with UPS, Fed X or other designated carriers. Computer skills as needed to perform tasks needed. Move materials to designated areas in an organized manner. Maintain shipping and receiving logs REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required.) Education/Required: High School graduate minimum Preferred: A.A.S. ExperienceRequired: At least (1) year of on the job training minimum. Ability to take direction and orders and execute them efficiently. -Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills, and ability to multi task. -Previous experience working in a shipping and receiving role. SpecialKnowledge/SkillsRequired: Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents that accompany both incoming shipments and outgoing product. -Ability to record information on routine reports and correspondence. -Ability to interact with fellow employees, customers, and vendors, in a professional manner. -Ability to maintain company ethics.
