Budget Analyst Responsibilities: Perform moderately complex budgetary, management, and financial analyses. Examine budget estimates and analyze accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls. Support departmental staff with budget automated systems and related processes. Assist in economic and financial planning and reporting. What the company needs in the Budget Analyst: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience implementing and monitoring department budgets, or in local government budget analysis, accounting, or related field. Knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting methods, practices, and procedures. Experience with Lawson/Infor, Hyperion, or other accounting/budget systems preferred.
