Position Description The Contract Administrator contributes to the overall success of CR Meyer and its heavy industrial customers through supporting the Contract Management life cycle including origination, review, execution and document preservation. Works with various parties to ensure all CR Meyer protocols are implemented in a consistent manner and acts as a resource for questions. Coordinates the full life cycle of CR Meyer contracts from initiation through final signature for all subcontracts and contracts. Utilizes CR Meyer systems and protocols to monitor and update contract statuses for 500+ agreements. Ensures timely renewals, accurate documentation and full administrative compliance for all contracts. Ensures all documents are prepared within CR Meyer guidelines and ready for Accounts Payable payment processing. ? Assesses and engages the appropriate individuals in contract negotiations while establishing clear expectations, communication paths and processes that lead to well-aligned final agreements.? Facilitates communication between internal and external parties and schedules contract reviews. Reviews redline modifications. Involves other contract team members as needed to minimize organizational exposure and risk.? Provides additional support to the Director of Contract Management as requested. Leads by personal example and is a strong advocate for the CR Meyer Mission-Vision-Values and Code of Conduct. Due to project deadlines and demands, regular and reliable attendance is required. Wears all assigned PPE and observes CR Meyer safety guidelines at all times. Completes all related reports and paperwork in a timely manner. Represents the CR Meyer brand in a positive, professional manner at all times. All other duties as assigned. Position Requirements Three to five years of previous related experience required. Paralegal experience with demonstrated knowledge of commercial terms and conditions for procuring goods and services preferred. Purchasing experience with examples of direct contract negotiations preferred.? Interest to explore contract management technology within CR Meyer's current providers such as Viewpoint™ or others.? Industrial construction experience a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software, including PowerPoint and Teams. Ability to learn new software programs, as needed. Ability to complete all CR Meyer training and perform job duties within safety guidelines required. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with CR Meyer's Drug & Alcohol Policy and Program. Must have a valid driver's license, insurable driving history and ability to operate a motor vehicle following all traffic laws and safe, courteous driving habits.
