Job Title: Lead Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for running preventive maintenance, making repairs, and leading maintenance efforts while working collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve shared goals. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities and assign preventive maintenance tasks to team members. Manage and ensure the implementation of general safety practices, including lock out/tag out procedures and 5S conditions. Coordinate trouble calls for machine downtime to ensure all equipment is repaired with the utmost quality. Prevent downtime by ensuring timely completion of work orders and maintaining a backlog of no more than 25 days. Retest all equipment with associates and leadership to verify quality and performance. Manage cross-shift repair coordination to avoid production interruptions. Assist in the development of team members' skills and behaviors. Initiate, plan, execute, control, and report on team projects to achieve improvement goals. Continuously identify and implement improvements in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and environment. Foster a teamwork atmosphere through excellent communication and respect for people. Escalate critical equipment issues to ensure adequate resources are assigned. Work unscheduled overtime as necessary to meet production goals. Essential Skills Prior leadership experience in maintenance. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with 5S methodologies. Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, control systems, and robotics. Ability to report team activity and progress through visual management tools such as weak point management, pareto charts, and other tools. Why Work Here?
