JOIN OUR TEAM AS A CORPORATE REVENUE CYCLE MANAGER (RCM)!Location in the office with travel a minimum 75% of the time. We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Revenue Cycle Manager (RCM) to join our corporate team. This pivotal role supports the Business Office teams across our 10 hospitals nationwide. This position is specifically assigned to the (2) WA location, as well as assigned as needed at any of our other (8) free-standing psychiatric hospitals. Overseeing the entire revenue cycle processes and procedures, including patient financial counseling, billing, collections, and census/cash date entry posting. This position will also serve as backup support for our outsourced medical professional business office functions. Your Work Matters How will you make a difference? Oversee daily billing, collections, and payment posting for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services. Ensure accurate and timely claim submissions, tracking, and resolution through insurance portals and direct contact with payors. Support the completion of month-end processes and reports with precision and timeliness. Investigate and resolve credit balances with insurance companies and patients. Identify and correct claim rejections to avoid delays in billing. Lead training for new staff and support ongoing education for existing team members. Monitor and follow up on aging claims to maximize timely collections and reduce denials. Analyze and reconcile accounts receivable, make appropriate adjustments, and document actions taken. Escalate recurring issues with payors (e.g., underpayments, denials, non-payment) and file formal complaints when needed. Maintain and balance essential monthly reports, including denial trends, cash collections, and census data. What You Bring: Prior experience in revenue cycle or business office operations in a healthcare setting (behavioral health preferred). Strong understanding of billing processes, insurance follow-up, and denial resolution. High attention to detail, time management skills, and comfort with EMR and insurance portal systems. Your Experience Matters What we're looking for: • Education: High School graduate or equivalent required; college degree preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of collection and billing process experience with major commercial and government third-party payors. Minimum of 1 year proven supervisory or management experience in a healthcare business office environment. Experience with insurance billing and proficiency. • Additional Skill Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excel predominantly. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a strong professional demeanor are essential. Detail-oriented with effective time management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter with a high degree of drive, initiative, forward thinking, and follow-through. Ability to mentor others and contribute to a collaborative, productive team environment. Ability to travel a minimum of 75% of the time, work overtime, and flexible hours as needed.
