Purpose The Material Transfer Heavy Truck Mechanic is responsible for working with heavy machinery used in construction. They work with the biggest engines, inspecting, servicing, and repairing any damage to the engine or vehicle. Job Responsibilities Performs independent preventative maintenance and repairs for a fleet of Dump Trucks and Lowboys Checks each unit for safety related and other defects as required Works with a wide variety of people and be able to work with their needs and requests The above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
