RN - Critical Care | Emergency DepartmentLocation: Syracuse, NY Contract Duration: 15 Weeks Pay: $58 - $68/hr Position Summary: "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide high-level patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing nursing assessments, executing patient care skills, and delivering care with minimal supervision in an Emergency Department/ICU environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver critical care to patients in the Adult ED/ICU holding unit Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and provide life-saving interventions Initiate IVs, assess patient conditions, and draw labs as needed Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a high-acuity setting Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols Complete assigned duties independently after initial orientation Work every other weekend and 2/3 of major seasonal holidays Qualifications: Current New York State RN License (or compact state license) BLS Certification (maintainable through recertification) Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience in an acute care facility of similar size and level ICU experience required; ED experience preferred Level 1 or 2 trauma center experience highly desired Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-806-4227.
