Description Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Night Shift)Location: Floresville, TX Department: Emergency DepartmentSchedule: Full-time, 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (2 openings)Pay: $32.50/hour base + evening/night differential (starting at/after 5:00 p.m.)SummaryThe ED RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care for all ages in a fast-paced rural community Emergency Department. This role is responsible for triage, assessment, intervention, and coordination of care for patients presenting with a wide range of emergency and urgent conditions.Key Responsibilities:• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and reassessments for ED patients.• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders.• Assist with stabilization of high-acuity patients (e.g., cardiac, stroke, trauma).• Collaborate with ED providers and inpatient units for admissions and transfers.• Document all care accurately and timely in the EMR.• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.Qualifications• Current Texas RN license (or compact license) required.• 1+ year recent acute care experience required; ED/ICU/Step-Down preferred.• BLS required; ACLS required or obtained shortly after hire; PALS/TNCC preferred.Salary$66,560-$114,400
