Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Med Surg Job Details: • Perform integrated pre and post-operative critical care functions using the nursing process • Assess patients for physical, emotional, psychological/social and family support needs • Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care according to patient's real and/or perceived needs • Evaluate patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge • Consult and collaborate with healthcare team members in planning and implementing total patient care • Work three weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period (Friday and Saturday) • No on-call responsibilities • 2 years of SICU experience required • Open Heart training required • BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required • Active Michigan nursing license required • Prior travel assignment history preferred • Epic EMR experience preferred • Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility • Skills checklist current to 1 year required • Two supervisory reference forms completed within last two years required Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing advanced cardiac and critical care services.
