Support a dynamic educational environment as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a full-time contract role based in Columbus, GA, serving in a school setting. This position offers the opportunity to work with a specialized high behavioral caseload, providing essential support to the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and contributing to student communication success. Key Responsibilities: Assist the SLP by implementing therapy plans tailored to student needs. Engage confidently and effectively within a high behavioral classroom environment. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions under the supervision of the SLP. Monitor student progress and report observations to the SLP. Maintain documentation consistent with school policies and regulatory requirements. Support behavioral interventions to create a positive and productive learning atmosphere. Desired Qualifications: Current SLPA license. Experience working with students in behavioral settings. Comfort and proficiency in managing behavioral challenges in an educational context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow treatment plans and adhere to professional ethical standards. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students. Location & Schedule: Columbus, GA. Full-time hours: approximately 27.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day).
