Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy therapies to urology and GYN oncology patients safely and effectively Perform intravesical bladder instillations for bladder cancer as part of treatment protocols Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation using Oncology MedConnect (Cerner) Monitor patient responses and manage infusion-related side effects promptly Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care plans Qualifications Current, active DC RN license is mandatory to be considered Minimum of 2 years experience in outpatient oncology infusion nursing Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Chemotherapy (ONC/ONCC) required Prior experience with intravesical bladder instillations strongly preferred Familiarity with oncology charting systems such as Oncology MedConnect Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5 days per week, 8-hour shifts) Additional Details Contract position located within 60 miles of Washington, DC Candidates with chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider credentials are highly desirable This role is an excellent fit for oncology infusion nurses seeking a steady daytime schedule while delivering specialized care to patients battling urologic and gynecologic cancers.
