NICU Registered Nurse in Shelby, NC

An opportunity for experienced NICU Registered Nurses to provide specialized care in a Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is available in Shelby, NC. Responsibilities Deliver expert nursing care to neonates in a Level III or IV NICU setting Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage respiratory support as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Meditech EMR system Communicate effectively with families, providing education and emotional support Qualifications / Desired Experience Current NC State or Compact RN Licensure Minimum of 2 years NICU nursing experience with Level III or Level IV exposure Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and Stable Experience with Meditech EMR preferred Ability to commit to night shifts (19:00-07:00) on a 3x12-hour schedule, working every other weekend (Fri-Sat-Sun) Flexibility to work a 4th shift if available, with overtime after 48 hours Submission of current NURSYS report and Qualivis cover sheet required This contract role offers a meaningful chance to advance your NICU nursing career within a supportive clinical environment.
