A valued opportunity exists for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide specialized therapy services within a school setting in Valparaiso, IN. This onsite contract role offers 35 hours per week throughout the 26-27 school year, focusing on addressing a broad spectrum of speech and language needs in students ranging from 2 to 22 years old with moderate to severe disabilities. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver individualized speech language therapy targeting assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, along with receptive and expressive language development delays. Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments to accurately identify and address student needs. Prepare clear, comprehensive reports reflecting student assessments and observations. Develop and maintain IEP objectives tailored to each student's progress. Collaborate and communicate effectively with parents and educational team members to support student developmental outcomes. Qualifications: Possession of or qualification for an Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and a teacher's license from the Department of Education (IDOE). Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Strong communication abilities and aptitude for collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
