An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with operating room experience to contribute to high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This travel position in Evans, GA, offers the chance to work alongside an interdisciplinary team dedicated to safe, patient-centered perioperative nursing within a supportive clinical environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized perioperative nursing care by performing comprehensive assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical interventions using evidence-based practices. Foster patient- and family-centered care by partnering with patients, respecting cultural diversity, and including significant others in care discussions. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate safe, high-quality patient care while maintaining professional and timely documentation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support shared governance efforts aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and nursing practice. Serve as a mentor or preceptor to support professional development and cultivate a healthy work environment. Uphold compliance with nursing standards, legal regulations, and organizational policies. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Current RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact) along with Basic Life Support certification. Recent graduate or less than one year of experience with direct patient care preferred. Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills. Ability to provide safe care in a fast-paced environment and respond calmly and decisively to emergencies. Proficient with technology to support clinical care. Schedule: Night shift: Four 10-hour shifts, with varying days of the week. On call as needed.
