Job Description

Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for contracts within a K-12 school setting located in Gretna, LA. The positions offer an opportunity to work with diverse student populations, including a significant portion of English Learners, in an engaging educational environment. One SLP will serve a high school, while the other will support a K-8 school. Both roles begin ASAP and extend through the end of the current school year, with the possibility of renewal. Responsibilities: Provide speech-language intervention services to caseloads ranging from 30 to 50 students. Focus primarily on delivering therapy and minutes; evaluations are managed by a dedicated team member. Perform observations as needed to support intervention efforts. Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement therapy plans aligned with student needs. Maintain detailed and timely documentation of services provided. Support English Learners within the caseload, who comprise approximately 50% of the students based in New Orleans. Qualifications: Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) and state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred. Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations. Knowledge of speech-language development and intervention strategies for K-12 students. Ability to manage a caseload effectively and coordinate with school personnel. Prior experience with English Learners is a strong plus. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply.
