Registered Respiratory Therapist - Gypsum, Colorado

This role emphasizes both neonatal/pediatric expertise, including Level 2 NICU experience, and adult respiratory support. The position offers scheduled 12-hour day shifts (2 per week) with no on-call duties, allowing for work-life balance. Key Qualifications and Experience: • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRTs will not be considered • Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program • Valid Colorado RT license (DORA-RT) in good standing • Demonstrated advanced skills in critical care ventilation • Neonatal and pediatric respiratory experience, including Level 2 NICU care • Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (AAP) • Flu vaccination required (October-March, no exemptions) Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy and diagnostic procedures to cardiopulmonary patients across all age groups and acuity levels • Manage ventilator settings and provide critical care support in adult, pediatric, and Level 2 NICU units • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and professional standards Location: Gypsum, Colorado Situated in the scenic mountains, Gypsum provides an excellent quality of life with outdoor recreational opportunities including hiking, skiing, and fishing.
