The Cycle Counter is to perform daily cycle counts via an RF Scanner and operate an Order Picker style lift truck. The cycle counter will also back-up the Inventory Lead in a handful of clerical duties such as reading/sending emails pertaining to inventory issues and cycle count requests as well as reconciling (adjusting) inventory locations and inventory statuses via a PC. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Utilize the ERP and WMS to count, verify and adjust inventory levels within the DC. • Read, comprehend and reply to cycle count and inventory issue request e-mails • Assist Inventory Lead on inventory issue investigations • Adheres to siffron Twinsburg safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures. • Actively speaks up and reports safety, environmental or quality concerns. • Responsible for all transactions performed by computer or a RF hand scanner such as receipts, moves, counts, reservations and/or other transactions needed. • Performs daily forklift inspections per shift. • Reports all damage or discrepancies to the Quality Manger and/or Distribution Lead. PERFORMANCE MEASURES • Average cycle counts per day • Error rate • Ability to follow directions and provide reliable results • Attendance and punctuality SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY • None POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK • This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM • Regular attendance is required, and overtime may be scheduled. Requirements EDUCATION, LICESES, AND EXPERIENCE • High School Diploma or equivalent • 1 to 3 years of experience working in a warehouse/distribution center environment SKILLS (Language, Mathematical, Reasoning, Other) • Must be proficient using a computer (experience with shipping or warehouse management system software preferred) • Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment • Must be detail-oriented and well organized • Must be able to operate an RF Scanner • Must be able to operate a pallet jack • Must be able to operate or willing to learn to operate Order Picker lift truck (training can be done on site) • Strong work ethic • Must be safety conscious WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Extensive walking, lifting, bending, standing • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs • Must be dexterous and handle small plastic and metal parts • Must be able to read an RF Scanner, computer screen, and scale • Must be able to work overtime with little notice • Must be able to multi-task • Must be able to effectively communicate and work in a team environment • Must have a general math aptitude Salary Description $18.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
