A contract physical therapy opportunity is available in Hialeah, FL, supporting local schools with part-time services. This role involves providing specialized physical therapy interventions and evaluations to students in various charter school settings, focusing on helping children improve their physical abilities and participate fully in their educational environment. Key responsibilities include: Delivering targeted physical therapy services at designated schools, including Duval Charter School at Flagler Center (60 minutes per week), Duval Charter School at Westside (20 minutes per week), and Renaissance Charter School at Tradition for re-evaluation and initial PT evaluations. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on student assessments. Collaborating with educators, families, and other therapy team members to support student goals. Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and evaluations. Desired qualifications and experience: Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with experience in school-based settings. Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy and developmental goals.
