Per Diem Pharmacist | Newton, Kansas

This position offers per diem opportunities for licensed pharmacists to support a community retail pharmacy team. Shifts are available on a semi-regular basis, providing flexibility and a manageable workload with a daily prescription count of approximately 100-125, supported by a strong technician team. Location: Newton, KS Schedule/Hours: Various shifts in the coming months Example shifts: Tuesday, 3/17: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Wednesday, 3/18: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Thursday, 3/19: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Additional shifts scheduled in April and May Responsibilities: Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently Provide excellent patient care and counseling Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other team members Utilize pharmacy software (Rx30) for daily operations Desired Qualifications: Current pharmacist license with no disciplinary actions Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting Ability to manage approximately 100-125 prescriptions per day Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working with Rx30 pharmacy management software Additional Information: Preference given to candidates located locally; however, travel accommodations are available for those beyond 75 miles, including meal allowances, mileage reimbursement, and hotel accommodations.
