An opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to join a growing operation as a Control Room Pharmacist in Westerville, OH. This direct hire position offers a structured work schedule with consistent weekday hours and rotating weekend shifts. The role requires a valid Ohio pharmacist license to begin immediately. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate medication orders to ensure appropriate drug selection, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration. Verify that dispensed medications are accurately supplied and labeled. Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare team members to address medication-related inquiries. Supervise medication preparation processes. Recommend therapy adjustments to physicians and facility staff as necessary. Investigate and resolve any medication-related issues. Maintain comprehensive patient records including medical, clinical, and laboratory data. Utilize frameworks system technology in daily operations. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current Ohio pharmacist license in hand. Experience in pharmacy operations, particularly in a control room or long-term care setting. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with healthcare professionals. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
