A rewarding opportunity is available for experienced School Psychologists to provide comprehensive psychological services during the 2026-2027 school year. These full-time roles (1.0 FTE) involve supporting students across early childhood through 8th grade, delivering services to diverse caseloads in cross categorical settings. Both positions are contract-based and located within school districts near Aurora, IL, with one role in Shorewood and the other serving multiple districts in the Joliet area. Please note, the districts may be located some distance from your home zip code as these opportunities are part of a cooperative agreement. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students in grades EC through 8th Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide consultation and support for behavioral interventions and academic strategies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ensure compliance with district policies and state regulations Maintain accurate records and documentation for all student-related services Desired Qualifications: Valid School Psychologist certification/license appropriate for Illinois Experience working within school settings serving EC-8th grade students Ability to manage cross categorical caseloads effectively Strong knowledge of classroom-based interventions and special education law Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, families, and school staff Work Details: Location options include Shorewood, IL 60404, and Joliet, IL 60435 area districts 35 hours per week, aligned with the school calendar Contract position for the 2026-2027 academic year These positions offer the chance to make a meaningful impact on student success through evidence-based psychological services.
