Speech-Language Pathologist - South Bend, IN (Onsite Contract Position) This role involves delivering specialized speech-language therapy services in a school setting, supporting students from ages 2 to 22 with a range of communication and developmental needs. The position is a 35-hour per week contract aligned with the 26-27 school year calendar. Key Responsibilities: Implement and contribute to individualized speech-language therapy plans addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive and expressive language delays Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments to inform treatment planning Prepare detailed, clear, and insightful reports reflecting observations and assessment findings Provide therapy to students with moderate to severe disabilities across developmental stages Develop and maintain IEP objectives aligned with student needs Collaborate and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members to monitor developmental progress and identify areas for additional support Qualifications: Hold or be eligible for an Indiana Professional License for Speech-Language Pathologists (IPLA) and a teacher's license from the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) Preferably 1 to 2 years of professional experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in educational settings Strong communication skills and proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Flexibility and problem-solving skills to adapt interventions to student needs Benefits: Competitive pay commensurate with experience Weekly pay schedule Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage Opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and supportive team of education professionals in a nurturing environment This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communicative development while collaborating with a committed team.
