A retail pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire opportunity in the Rathdrum, Idaho area. This position offers a balanced schedule on the first shift with a strong focus on patient care, customer service, and team collaboration. Location: Rathdrum, ID Job Type: Contract to Hire Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Saturday work allows for a day off on Thursday or Friday) Team Environment: Support staff includes 3 technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier Daily prescription volume ranges from 300 to 400 Pharmacy system: Pioneer Primary Responsibilities: Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions Counsel patients on medication use and safety Supervise and support pharmacy technicians Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth pharmacy operations Qualifications: Active and clear Idaho pharmacist license required Previous pharmacy experience essential Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Benefits (upon permanent hire): Paid holidays Health, vision, and dental insurance with 50% employer contribution starting after 2 months 401(k) plan with 3% employer match after 1 year Vacation pay This is a full-time position until February 24th, transitioning to 30 hours per week thereafter.
