An acute care hospital in California seeks an experienced Physical Therapist with a specialty in hospital-based therapy to join their rehab team. This contract role offers an opportunity to provide expert care in a facility certified for stroke treatment, supporting a diverse patient population including cardiac, orthopedic, neuro, ICU, and medical-surgical cases. You will be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary rehab unit alongside occupational and speech therapists. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience, including at least 1 year in an acute care hospital setting Active California Physical Therapy license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience treating cardiac, stroke, ortho, neuro, ICU, or medical-surgical patients preferred First-time travelers welcome Location: Situated in Cottonwood, California, this location offers a serene environment with proximity to natural beauty, including forests and outdoor recreational activities, making it an appealing place to live and work.
