An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) care on a 12-hour night shift schedule. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in the intensive care setting Utilize advanced assessment skills and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately to manage patient care effectively Administer medications and treatments in compliance with established protocols, including ACLS and BLS standards Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and safety Float to the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) as needed, demonstrating flexibility in patient care assignments Adhere to a consistent schedule working three 12-hour night shifts and every third weekend Qualifications and Experience: Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience required Current ACLS and BLS certification required Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum 80% overall score and a perfect 100% on lethal rhythms mandatory First-time travel nurses with CVICU experience are welcome to apply This contract assignment offers the opportunity to work within a supportive, high-acuity environment that values clinical expertise and professional growth.
