Oncology Registered Nurse - Cincinnati, Ohio

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with specialized expertise in oncology to contribute to a dedicated inpatient unit. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing stem cell therapy, chemotherapy, and participating in clinical trials within a 16-bed and 14-bed inpatient BMT/Oncology setting. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an RN with experience in Med Surg, telemetry, PCU, BMT, or inpatient oncology. At least 1 year of travel nursing experience. Proficiency with EPIC EMR/charting systems. Two years experience in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) nursing. ONS Chemo or ONCC Chemo-biotherapy certification. Demonstrated competency in chemotherapy administration. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care on a 16-bed and 14-bed inpatient BMT/Oncology unit. Administer chemotherapy and provide care for patients undergoing stem cell therapy. Support clinical trials and maintain compliance with protocols. Float to other equivalent units as necessary. Maintain patient ratios typically around 1:5-6. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes. Schedule: 36 hours per week, structured as three 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend required.
