Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Location: Woodsville, New Hampshire Facility: Cottage Hospital - Med/Surg & ICU Unit Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (30-minute meal break) Contract Length: [Insert if applicable] Pay Rate: $46.50 - $47.00 per hour Position Overview Cottage Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Med/Surg unit. The RN will provide direct patient care for adult patients with a variety of acute medical conditions while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg patients • Monitor patient conditions and document changes accurately • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed • Perform patient assessments and develop care plans • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate care • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions • Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record • Ensure adherence to hospital safety, infection control, and quality standards Unit Overview The Med/Surg unit at Cottage Hospital cares for patients with a wide range of medical conditions requiring acute inpatient care. Nurses work collaboratively with the ICU team and other specialists to provide safe and effective treatment. Minimum Requirements • Active RN license (State of NH or compact state) • BLS certification (AHA required) • Previous Med/Surg nursing experience preferred • Strong patient care and clinical assessment skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Work Schedule Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Meal Break: 30 minutes
