Speech and Language Pathologist - Cambridge, MA

A one-of-a-kind opportunity to provide specialized speech-language therapy in an elementary school setting is available in Cambridge, MA. This leave contract spans eight weeks, from February 23rd to April 17th, serving preschool through 1st-grade students. The role emphasizes direct therapy, active participation in meetings, and preparation of progress reports. Key responsibilities include: Delivering direct speech and language therapy to young learners. Collaborating with educators and staff in meetings to support student progress. Documenting and maintaining detailed progress reports. Supporting eight students who use AAC devices, requiring demonstrated expertise in augmentative and alternative communication. Desired qualifications and experience: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Experience working within school settings, preferably with early childhood or elementary-aged students. Strong proficiency with AAC technology and interventions. Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
