This travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is based in Pottstown, PA, serving both elementary and high school students across two locations approximately 15 minutes apart. The position begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year, with an additional Extended School Year (ESY) opportunity available. The caseload involves working with approximately 45 students who present a range of speech and language needs, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role offers the chance to support diverse learners in a dynamic school environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy services for students with various speech and communication challenges Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Utilize AAC strategies and support students with Autism to enhance communication skills Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies Desired Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC-SLP certification Experience working in school settings with elementary and high school students Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and related communication interventions Ability to travel between two school locations within the district This travel SLP position offers a rewarding experience supporting students' communication development while providing the flexibility of travel within the local area.
