An experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist is sought for a contract position in Alliance, OH, supporting advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This role focuses on neuro and body angiography in a Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center, requiring specialized technical expertise and commitment to patient care and safety. Responsibilities: Assist licensed practitioners during fluoroscopic, interventional, and neuro-interventional procedures Prepare, administer, and document use of medications and radiation in compliance with regulations Verify patient history and lab results; explain procedures and address patient queries Handle contrast administration safely using power injectors Employ radiation protection standards to minimize exposure Perform procedural documentation, timeouts, and consent verifications Monitor for allergic reactions and support emergency response protocols Maintain equipment and supply readiness, report needs promptly Support education for students and healthcare colleagues Schedule and Call: Monday to Friday, four 9-hour days Call approximately once per week and 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks 30-minute call response time required; weekends defined as Friday evening through Monday morning Work Environment: Potential exposure to physical and verbal challenges, bodily fluids, and infection risk, requiring resilience and professionalism in dynamic circumstances.
