An opportunity is available for a registered nurse with acute care operating room experience to provide specialized perioperative nursing in a Level 1 Trauma Center. This role involves working a consistent night schedule with 4 shifts of 10 hours each, from 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Key responsibilities include: Delivering expert scrub and circulating support during surgeries with a focus on Orthopedics, Orthopedic Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery procedures Flexibly floating within facility departments as required, working collaboratively to meet patient care needs Maintaining compliance with safety and care standards in a high-acuity environment Participating in call rotation with one weekend shift per month, ensuring continuous coverage Qualifications and desired experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in the Operating Room Proven skills as scrub and circulating nurse within a Level 1 Trauma Center Experience in Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery required Neurosurgery, Open Heart/Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, and Gynecology experience is a plus Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory Ability to float across specialties as directed by the facility Local candidates within approximately 75 miles preferred This contract role offers guaranteed 40-hour work weeks in a dynamically challenging setting.
