A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services, located in Fontana, CA. This position offers the chance to work with a dynamic caseload of approximately 50 students across two elementary school sites, with additional responsibilities supporting assessments for the Early Childhood Assessment Team. The contract runs from April 6th through the end of the school year, providing a focused timeline to make a significant impact on student outcomes. Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to students at two elementary school sites, addressing developmental and functional needs. Conduct comprehensive assessments to support the Early Childhood Assessment Team. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations. Offer therapeutic interventions that promote student participation and success in educational activities. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials in school-based therapy. Experience working within elementary school settings. Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to pediatric and early childhood populations. Ability to manage a caseload of around 50 students efficiently. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Schedule and Work Environment: Full-time contract position, 40 hours per week. Typical work hours are from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
