A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Dearborn, MI, on a contract-to-hire basis. This role supports one elementary school building, working two days per week, providing valuable speech and language services to pediatric students. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in school settings, including those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Key Qualifications: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or actively pursuing CFY Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy, preferably in school settings Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support elementary-aged students Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of best practices in school-based speech-language pathology services and regulations Responsibilities: Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to elementary students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student goals Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school district policies and state regulations Participate in meetings related to student progress and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students in a school environment Location: Dearborn, MI Schedule: 2 days per week, serving one elementary school building Employment Type: Contract to hire This position offers a focused schedule with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills.
