Occupational Therapist School Setting in Rochester, NY

A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available at a school setting in Rochester, NY, offering a focused opportunity to support students with diverse needs. This contract role runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, June 26. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., totaling 37.5 hours weekly. This position is based in a single building, eliminating the need for travel between multiple school sites. You will provide therapy services to students aged 13 to 22, many of whom have multiple diagnoses. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans aligned with students' educational goals. Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student development. Conduct evaluations and progress monitoring to measure student achievements effectively. Facilitate therapeutic interventions aimed at improving functional skills and independence. Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy licensure eligible to practice in New York. Experience working with school-age children and young adults, preferably those with multiple diagnoses. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an educational setting. Strong communication and documentation skills.
