Pharmacist opportunity available for a 13-week contract in Saint Paul, MN. This role requires flexibility with shifts including 9:30 AM-6:00 PM, 10:00 AM-6:30 PM, or 11:00 AM-8:30 PM, with rotating weekends. Immediate start is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely. Monitor patient medication compliance and address any over-usage patterns. Ensure medicine supply complies with legal regulations. Verify the suitability of prescribed medications for patients. Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation. Advise patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and answer questions. Provide consultations on prescription and over-the-counter medications, including storage and drug interactions. Offer patient services such as smoking cessation support, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management. Educate patients on the use of medical devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters. Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following proper protocols. Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks. Manage pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address drug-related problems and enhance patient care. Qualifications: Minnesota pharmacist license in hand. Retail pharmacy experience is welcome; training will be provided. Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends.
