Job Description

A full-time, onsite Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available at a school setting in Wyoming, Delaware, supporting students ages 2 to 22 with severe disabilities and autism. This contract role runs through June 12, 2026, offering a chance to apply specialized behavioral expertise in a collaborative educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to understand student behavior. Develop and implement individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish behavior goals aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide behavioral support to both school staff and students. Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts as part of the school's emergency response team. Support consistent data collection to monitor student progress and plan adjustments. Qualifications and Experience: Active Delaware licensure or certification as a BCBA is required. Proven experience working with students with severe disabilities and autism in school settings. Skilled in conducting FBAs and creating BSPs. Strong crisis management and de-escalation experience. Ability to work onsite full-time, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week). Location: Wyoming, Delaware - onsite role supporting a school-based program focused on behavioral support services for children and young adults with special needs.
