A permanent opportunity is available for a clinical pharmacist to support both Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patient care, along with participation on the antibiotic stewardship team. This role offers a dynamic practice environment, allowing you to develop and expand your clinical skills across multiple critical care units rather than being limited to a single specialty area. Location: State College, PA Schedule: Variable days and afternoons, primarily 8-hour day shifts Systems: Meditech Key Responsibilities: Enter and verify medication orders with accuracy and clinical judgment Review medication profiles to ensure appropriateness of therapy Provide clinical pharmacy services tailored to patient population needs Actively participate in multidisciplinary rounds and clinical team discussions Perform drug therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consults per protocol Respond in acute scenarios such as cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma within ED and ICU settings Support antibiotic stewardship initiatives to optimize antimicrobial use Desired Qualifications and Experience: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD required PGY1 residency completion or a minimum of 3 years clinical pharmacy experience Licensed pharmacist in PA or eligible to obtain licensure Strong clinical knowledge and ability to function effectively in high-acuity environments Excellent communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork Benefits & Perks: Competitive compensation ranging from $108,000 to $169,000 annually (midpoint $139,000) Relocation assistance available upon request Opportunity to work in a beautiful college town with a strong sense of community Diverse clinical exposure to grow your expertise without being confined to one specialty area Support for candidates currently without a PA license This is a permanent position based in State College, PA, with relocation support available.
