A school-based contract opportunity is available in Sharon Springs, NY, seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students' communication development. This role is ideal for an SLP dedicated to making a meaningful impact within an educational setting. Responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessments Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Documenting therapy sessions and providing progress reports in compliance with school policies Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to advocate for student needs Desired qualifications: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred Experience working with school-aged children in speech therapy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team This contractual position offers the opportunity to engage directly with students in a dynamic school environment in Sharon Springs, NY.
