Provide specialized nursing care in a fast-paced acute care environment focused on neurological and telemetry patients. This night shift position requires skilled assessment and monitoring of patients on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, supporting excellent patient outcomes through expert dysrhythmia interpretation and telemetry management. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit during night shifts. Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias accurately. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient care needs. Float within the unit's scope as needed to support overall facility operations. Adhere to facility protocols and utilize electronic medical records (Epic) efficiently. Qualifications and Experience: Valid South Carolina nursing license or Compact license in hand prior to start. Minimum of 2 years' experience in telemetry, medical-surgical nursing, or related roles. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale required. Familiarity with telemetry interpretation and tele nurse responsibilities. First-time telemetry nurses are welcome to apply. Preference for candidates with community hospital experience. Schedule and Hours: Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) Weekend rotation every other weekend Guaranteed hours with limited call-offs allowed Additional Information: Acute care hospital setting with 286 staffed beds.
