An excellent leadership opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to provide system-level operational oversight across multiple pharmacy sites. This role is critical in driving financial performance, quality initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence alongside pharmacy leadership. Location: Rockford, IL Employment Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday-Friday with 24/7 accountability Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily pharmacy operations for assigned sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy in planning and implementing hospital pharmacy procedures and initiatives Lead operational planning, budgeting, and problem-solving efforts in partnership with system pharmacy leadership Maintain strong collaborative relationships with medical staff and hospital departments to support quality patient care Support the development and management of pharmacy information systems and inventory controls Participate actively in various hospital committees such as Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Safety, Medication Safety, and Nursing/Pharmacy committees Manage human resources functions including hiring, performance evaluation, staff development, and engagement to foster a productive work environment Monitor productivity, budget adherence, and patient outcomes to achieve organizational goals Fulfill all pharmacy manager responsibilities as assigned Qualifications and Experience: PharmD degree from an accredited institution Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in Health-System Pharmacy Administration or equivalent experience Minimum of five years in supervisory or management roles within a pharmacy setting Active Illinois Pharmacist License (required) This direct hire role offers an opportunity to take a strategic leadership position within a well-respected healthcare system.
