Echo Technician in Olathe, KS

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a skilled Echo Technologist with at least 1 year of acute care experience in echocardiography. This position offers a full-time 40-hour workweek at a facility located in Lawrence, KS, with a work schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. On-call duties include one weekend per month and 3-4 weekdays per month, with holiday coverage as needed. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality echocardiographic imaging to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Operate and maintain echo equipment, ensuring accurate and detailed imaging. Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate and interpret results as appropriate. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols within an acute care setting. Participate in on-call rotation to provide timely imaging services. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience in an acute care environment. Current ARDMS RDCS credential required. BLS certification mandatory. Strong proficiency in echocardiographic imaging and echo technology. Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
