A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse to support the float pool, covering multiple pediatric intensive care units. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional to provide expert care to critically ill pediatric patients across specialized units, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care in pediatric critical care settings with ratios between 1:2 and 1:3 Float across various pediatric units within the facility, ensuring coverage and consistency Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans Participate in holiday rotations and every other weekend shifts to maintain continuous care Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and safety standards, including emergency and hurricane response protocols Qualifications & Desired Experience: Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN license Minimum of 2 years' experience in Pediatric ICU; first-time PICU nurses with relevant ICU experience will be considered Certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association certified only) Preferred experience with ECMO and CRRT procedures is a plus Ability to adapt to a block scheduling system if approved by management Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Weekend and holiday rotations are required Location Details: This position is located in Goose Creek, South Carolina, an attractive and growing community known for its warm climate, close proximity to both beaches and cultural attractions, and family-friendly neighborhoods. Additional Information: This contract position offers 36 hours per week with flexibility for local candidates within a 60-mile radius, with special consideration on case-by-case acceptance.
