A unique opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support an elementary school student in a school setting located in Lemoore, CA. This contract position spans the current school year and focuses on delivering targeted OT services that foster the student's development and independence. Responsibilities include providing direct occupational therapy to one verbal student diagnosed with autism. You will work closely with the student three times a month, with each session lasting 20 minutes. This role requires the design and implementation of individualized interventions tailored to meet the student's specific sensory, motor, and functional needs within the school environment. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid occupational therapy licensure and certification Experience working with school-age children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and collaboration with educational staff Ability to create engaging, evidence-based therapy plans that promote skill development Excellent communication skills for coordinating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Location: Elementary school in Lemoore, California This contract assignment provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a student's educational experience by enhancing their functional abilities and classroom participation.
