DPP is seeking a Senior Scrum Master for an opportunity with our client in the banking industry in Columbia, SC. Location: Fully onsite in Columbia Duration: 12 months; W2 position Position summary: The Senior Scrum Master leads Agile development teams in delivering technology solutions aligned with the Bank's product vision and strategic goals. As a champion of Agile principles, this role drives best practices, fosters innovation, and enhances team performance through coaching, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Educate teams and stakeholders on Agile principles using training and practical tools. Mentor Scrum Masters and team members to strengthen Agile practices. Develop strategies for enterprise-wide adoption of Agile methodologies and cultural transformation. Implement Agile processes to improve collaboration, transparency, and predictability. Promote a culture of innovation, experimentation, and learning. Serve as the primary contact for Scrum team-related projects and applications. Coordinate across teams in a scaled Agile environment to meet project goals. Lead by example and drive Agile maturity and organizational change. Align Agile practices with business processes, products, and technologies. Partner with senior leadership to evolve and sustain Agile methodologies. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Finance, or Accounting (master's preferred) 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years as Scrum Master or 5+ years as Project Manager Certified Scrum Master and Advanced Scrum Master required; Professional Scrum Master preferred Deep understanding of Agile frameworks and experience in coaching teams Proven success managing complex, multi-team projects Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills Technical exposure or programming experience is a plus.
