A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to work within a K-12 educational setting in Calhoun, GA. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY), offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to diverse student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies and support academic success. Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development. Desired Qualifications: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Previous experience working in school settings with K-12 students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel. Ability to work independently within a contract-based role.
