A permanent opportunity is available for a clinical pharmacist to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a dynamic hospital setting. This role offers the unique chance to develop expertise across multiple critical care units including the Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU), as well as contribute to an antibiotic stewardship program. Unlike larger hospitals where pharmacists may be limited to one specialty area, this position encourages clinical growth by working across several units. Location: State College, PA, a vibrant community known for its scenic beauty and home to Penn State University Relocation assistance available to support your transition Key Responsibilities: Entering and verifying medication orders with precision Reviewing medication profiles for appropriateness and safety Providing clinical pharmacy services tailored to patient needs Participating in multi-disciplinary teams and rounding activities Performing drug therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consults according to protocol Engaging in acute patient care scenarios such as cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma within ED and critical care settings Qualifications / Desired Experience: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Postgraduate Year One residency (PGY1) or a minimum of three years current clinical pharmacy experience Pennsylvania pharmacist license or ability to obtain licensure; candidates without PA licensure are encouraged to apply Commitment to delivering patient-centered care within high-acuity environments Schedule: Primarily day shift, variable days/afternoons 8-hour shifts This position offers competitive compensation complemented by relocation support on a case-by-case basis.
