Pharmacist - Phoenix, AZ

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist specializing in infusion pharmacy. This role is based in Phoenix, AZ, within a rapidly expanding facility that has recently moved into a new, significantly larger site. The position operates Monday through Friday on 8-hour shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 7:30 PM, with rotating on-call weekend duties. The pharmacist will work primarily with acute condition treatments, preparing sterile compounded medications including IVs, hydration therapies, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and antibiotics, using CareTend software. Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care by dispensing medications, monitoring patient drug therapies, and consulting with medical and nursing staff. The pharmacist will ensure the day-to-day operational management of the pharmacy with a strong focus on medication safety and efficacy. This includes overseeing prescription processing, collaborating with providers to optimize drug therapy, and supervising pharmacy technical staff. Maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory standards is essential, alongside providing excellent communication and service to patients and healthcare professionals.
